4 Optimal Collection Route
Follow this order to minimize backtracking and maximize efficiency.
① Pre-Hardmode Collection
Get Copper Shortsword (starter) → Craft Blade of Grass (Jungle) → Craft Fiery Greatsword (Underworld) → Find Starfury (Sky Islands) → Find Enchanted Sword (Underground Shrines) → Craft Night's Edge (4 biome swords) → Defeat Queen Bee for Bee Keeper
② Hardmode Progression
Get Muramasa from Dungeon → Craft Excalibur from Hallowed Bars → Defeat all 3 Mechanical Bosses → Get Broken Hero Swords from Solar Eclipse → Craft True Excalibur and True Night's Edge → Craft Terra Blade
③ Endgame Grind
Defeat Moon Lord for Star Wrath AND Meowmere (11% each, expect 5-10 kills) → Trigger Martian Madness for Influx Waver (11%) → Find Terragrim/Arkhalis in Sword Shrines (very rare, grind many worlds)
④ Final Assembly
Combine ALL 10 swords at Mythril/Orichalcum Anvil → ZENITH obtained
5 ⚠ Gotcha Tips — Don't Waste Your Time
These mistakes will waste hours. Read this before you start.
Star Wrath and Meowmere each have 11% drop rate from Moon Lord. Expect 5-10 kills on average to get both. Use a strong farming setup.
The Enchanted Sword Shrine that gives Terragrim is very rare. You may need to check 20+ worlds. Consider using a world seed known to have one.
You need 3 Broken Hero Swords total (2 for True swords, context for progression). Solar Eclipse events are the only source.
Many players accidentally sell or discard Copper Shortsword or early swords. Keep every sword — you need them all.
Influx Waver requires Martian Madness, triggered by a Martian Probe finding you in the outer space biome. Build a sky platform and wait.
6 🎁 Free Benefits — Loot You Pick Up Along the Way
While collecting materials, you'll pass through biomes full of valuable drops. Don't leave empty-handed.
While collecting Jungle Spores and Stingers: Get Rich Mahogany, M Jungle armor, Bezoar (for Ankh Shield later!), Vine (crafting), and jungle-exclusive accessories.
Mining Hellstone: Collect Fireblossom, Obsidian, find Hellforge, explore Shadow Chests for unique weapons, and grab Lava Charm if you find one.
While getting Golden Keys: Farm Armor Polish and Nazar (both for Ankh Shield!), find Shadow Key, collect Ectoplasm post-Plantera.
While grinding for Star Wrath/Meowmere: Moon Lord also drops Luminite (best endgame armor), Portal Gun, and other powerful weapons.
