1 Why the Avenger Emblem Is Every Damage Build's Foundation
The Avenger Emblem gives +12% damage to ALL weapon types — melee, ranged, magic, and summon. It's the base ingredient for every specialized class emblem, making it the first crafting priority for any Hardmode damage dealer.
Starting with +12% all-damage, you can then specialize: Warrior Emblem (+melee), Ranger Emblem (+ranged), Sorcerer Emblem (+magic), or Summoner Emblem (+minions). One emblem, five powerful paths.

4 Optimal Collection Route
Follow this order to minimize backtracking and maximize efficiency.
① Defeat Wall of Flesh (Multiple Times)
Wall of Flesh drops ONE random emblem per kill (~20% each). You need all 3 different emblems. Expect to fight WoF 3-5 times on average. Build a long Hellbridge for easier fights.
② Final Assembly
Combine all 3 emblems → AVENGER EMBLEM
Then upgrade to your class specialty: + Soul of Might → Warrior/Ranger/Sorcerer Emblem
5 ⚠ Gotcha Tips — Don't Waste Your Time
These mistakes will waste hours. Read this before you start.
You might get the same emblem twice. There's no guarantee of getting all 3 quickly. Keep killing WoF until you have all three different emblems.
Each WoF fight requires sacrificing a Guide Voodoo Doll in lava. Stockpile dolls from Underground enemies, or wait for the Guide to respawn (next day).
6 🎁 Free Benefits — Loot You Pick Up Along the Way
While collecting materials, you'll pass through biomes full of valuable drops. Don't leave empty-handed.
While building your Hellbridge for WoF fights: Mine Hellstone (for Fiery Greatsword / Obsidian Skull), find Shadow Chests, collect Fireblossom, and grab Lava Charms if lucky.
Besides emblems, WoF drops Pwnhammer (smash Demon Altars), Breaker Blade (great early Hardmode sword), and starts Hardmode (new ores, new everything).
