Profession at Level 5: Choose "Gatherer" (20% chance of double harvest) — this helps with resource collection. At Level 10, "Botanist" makes all foraged items highest quality.
技巧： Salmonberry season (春季 15-18) is the biggest foraging XP boost of the year. Shake every Salmonberry bush — there are 50+ bushes in 煤林森林 alone, yielding 200+ berries for 600+ XP. Don't miss this window!

With all materials gathered and 采集等级 8 reached: Open crafting menu → WARP TOTEM: FARM. Craft 10-20 totems at once and store them in a chest by your farmhouse door. Use them whenever you're far from home and the clock is ticking past midnight. With daily 秘密森林 visits, you can craft 12 totems per day indefinitely.
5 ⚠ 避坑指南 — 别浪费时间
These mistakes will waste hours. Read this before you start.
蜂房s completely stop producing 蜂蜜 in 冬季. The last harvest is 秋季 28, and production resumes 春季 1. If you plan to craft 传送图腾s in 冬季, you must stockpile 蜂蜜 during 秋季. A chest of 50+ 蜂蜜 will easily last through 冬季. Alternatively, buy 蜂蜜 from Sandy at the Oasis (Thursdays, 200g) or 科罗布斯 (Saturdays, 200g).
The Large Log blocking the 秘密森林 entrance requires a Steel Axe or better. This costs 5,000g + 5 铁锭s at 克林特's and takes 2 days. Without it, your 硬木 supply is limited to random farm stump spawns — completely insufficient for mass 传送图腾 production. Prioritize this upgrade in early 夏季.
Weed growth is minimal in 冬季. If you need 纤维 during 冬季 and didn't stockpile, your options are limited: tilling dirt patches with a Hoe (1-5% chance per tile), putting Newspapers in a 回收机 (50% chance for 3 纤维), or checking the Mines for weed floors. Always keep 100+ 纤维 in storage.
纤维 is a surprisingly scarce material needed for: Grass Starter (1 纤维 — essential for feeding animals), 洒水器 (1 纤维), 稻草人 (1 纤维 + 20 木头 + 1 煤炭), Wild 种子s (various amounts), Flute Blocks and Drum Blocks, and many other recipes. With 20 纤维 per 传送图腾, mass production can drain your reserves quickly. Maintain a minimum stockpile of 100 纤维 at all times.
If you find yourself crafting 传送图腾s constantly, save up 2,000,000g and buy the Return Scepter from 科罗布斯 in the Sewers. It provides infinite instant teleportation to your farmhouse — no materials needed, no crafting required. It's the best gold investment in the game for quality of life. But until you can afford it, 传送图腾s are the perfect budget alternative.
硬木 is needed for many other recipes: 压酪机 (10), 产油机 (20), 硬木 Fence (1 each), 软木浮标 (10), 雨水图腾 (1 — see our 雨水图腾 guide), and more. With only 12 硬木 per day from 秘密森林, plan your crafting queue. 传送图腾：农场 uses only 1 硬木 each — very efficient compared to other recipes.
When using 蜂蜜 for crafting (like 传送图腾s), the flower type doesn't matter — any 蜂蜜 works. But when selling 蜂蜜, Fairy Rose 蜂蜜 (680g) is 6.8x more valuable than Wild 蜂蜜 (100g). Always plant Fairy Roses near 蜂房s in 秋季 for maximum profit. Save your cheapest 蜂蜜 (Wild 蜂蜜 from off-season 蜂房s) for crafting totems.

While gathering 传送图腾：农场 materials, you'll accumulate wealth, XP, and resources that benefit your entire farm. Don't leave these on the table.
Setting up 8-12 蜂房s near Fairy Roses generates 5,440g every 4 days (680g x 8 houses). That's 1,360g per day with zero maintenance beyond initial setup. 蜂房s are one of the most profitable crafting stations per tile in the game. The 蜂蜜 for your 传送图腾s is a tiny fraction of your total production.
Daily 秘密森林 visits yield 12 硬木, plus forageables unique to the woods: Morels (春季, used in Fried Mushroom and Strange Bun), Fiddlehead Ferns (夏季, used in Fiddlehead Risotto), Chanterelles (秋季), and Holly (冬季). The 秘密森林 pond also has the 木头skip fish (needed for 社区中心).
At 采集等级 8, you unlock not just 传送图腾：农场 but also increased foraging radius and quality. At Level 9, you unlock the 雨水图腾 (see our 雨水图腾 guide) — another powerful weather tool. At Level 10, the "Botanist" profession makes all foraged items Iridium quality, doubling their value. The foraging skill tree is one of the most rewarding in the game.
While collecting 20 纤维 per totem, you'll amass hundreds of extra 纤维. This is essential for: Grass Starter (feed your animals — 1 纤维 each), Wild 种子s (craft seasonal seeds from forageables), and building recipes. Excess 纤维 can be sold for 1g each (not much, but every bit helps early-game).
Clearing weeds for 纤维 also beautifies your farm and prevents weeds from spreading to your crops. Weeds can destroy crops if left unchecked — regular clearing is good farm maintenance. The scythe also harvests Grass which becomes Hay in your Silo (animal feed for 冬季).
Learning 传送图腾：农场 opens your eyes to the entire totem system.
