1 Why the 避雷针 Powers Your Entire Late Game
The 避雷针 is the only source of 电池组s in 星露谷物语, and 电池组s are required for some of the most powerful items and buildings in the entire game. Without 避雷针s, you cannot craft: the 铱制洒水器 (best sprinkler — 24-tile coverage), the 宝石复制机 (infinite gem duplication), the 农场电脑 (track farm stats), or the 太阳能板 (passive 电池组 production). A single 避雷针, placed strategically on your farm, converts thunderstorms into free 电池组s — each worth 500g if sold, but infinitely more valuable as a crafting component.
Storms occur in 春季, 夏季, and 秋季 — never in 冬季. On average, you can expect 8-12 storm days per year across the three storm seasons. Each 避雷针 on your farm has an independent chance to be struck by lightning during a storm, and a struck rod produces exactly one 电池组 the following morning. With 10-15 避雷针s spread across your farm, a single storm day can yield 2-4 电池组s — enough to power your entire crafting queue.
Beyond 电池组s, 避雷针s serve a critical protective function: they prevent lightning from destroying crops and trees on your farm. Without 避雷针s, a direct lightning strike on a crop tile destroys the crop and leaves a debris tile. A single strike on your 古代水果 greenhouse setup could destroy a plant worth thousands. 避雷针s attract strikes preferentially, saving your valuable crops from destruction.

Check the Bus Stop, 煤林森林, and Railroad areas daily.
Professions: At Level 5, choose Forester (trees drop 25% more wood) or Gatherer (chance for double forage). Forester is better for early wood needs; Gatherer is better for money from wild forage. At Level 10, Lumberjack (all trees can drop 硬木) or 树液采集器 (syrup worth 25% more) are both excellent.

Salmonberry Season (日s 15-18): During the Salmonberry season, bushes in every outdoor area produce berries. Each Salmonberry collected gives +7 Foraging XP. A full harvest run nets 200+ XP and dozens of free berries for energy. This is the biggest Foraging XP burst of 春季.
② 春季 日 5-15 — Mine Descent + Material Collection
Descend the mines to 层 40+ as quickly as farming time allows. Your goals:
• 蝙蝠翅膀s: Kill every bat on 层 30-50 (50% drop rate). You need 10-15 蝙蝠翅膀s for multiple 避雷针s.

Placement tip: Place 避雷针s at the edges of your crop fields, not in the middle. They don't need to be adjacent to crops to protect them — the game checks all rods when determining lightning strikes. A rod anywhere on the farm can absorb a strike that would have hit a crop anywhere else.
④ 夏季 — 电池组 Collection Season
夏季 has the highest storm frequency of any season — expect 4-6 storm days. Each morning after a storm, run your farm and collect 电池组s from struck 避雷针s. With 15 rods, expect 2-4 电池组s per storm.
Storm prediction: Check the TV's Weather Report every morning. If rain is forecast for the next day, there's a chance it will be a thunderstorm (especially in 夏季). Plan indoor activities for storm days — mining, fishing, or socializing — since you can't farm in the rain anyway.
Store all 电池组s in a chest. You'll need them for: 铱制洒水器s (1 each), 宝石复制机s (1 each), 农场电脑 (1), and 传送图腾s (1 each).
⑤ 秋季 — Continue Collection + First Crafting
秋季 has 2-4 storm days. Continue collecting 电池组s. By end of 秋季, you should have 8-15 电池组s from a full season of storms.

5 ⚠ 避坑指南 — 别浪费时间
These mistakes will cost you 电池组s and potentially destroy your crops. Read this before you place your first 避雷针.
Lightning never strikes in 冬季. If you don't build 避雷针s before 夏季 and 秋季, you must wait until 春季 第二年 for your first 电池组. The 太阳能板 (Fishing Mastery) produces 电池组s in 冬季, but it's a very late-game unlock. Build your 避雷针s in 春季 — don't procrastinate.
A 避雷针 that has been struck and is holding a 电池组 will not attract further strikes until the 电池组 is collected. Check your rods every morning after a storm. Unclaimed Battery Pogs mean inactive rods, which means missed strikes and unprotected crops.
Without any 避雷针s on your farm, lightning strikes have a small chance to destroy crops and trees directly. A single 古代水果 plant lost to lightning is thousands of gold gone. Even one 避雷针 significantly reduces this risk. Build at least 5 rods for basic protection, regardless of 电池组 needs.
Each crafting recipe that uses a 电池组 consumes it permanently. One 电池组 = one 铱制洒水器. A full farm of 40 铱制洒水器s needs 40 电池组s. With 10-15 rods and average storms, this takes 2-3 game years. Plan accordingly — don't waste early 电池组s on low-priority recipes.
Many players don't realize they've hit 采集等级 6 because they're focused on Farming or Mining. Check your skill tab regularly. The moment you see Level 6, craft 避雷针s — every storm day before you have rods is a lost 电池组 opportunity.
While you can smelt 石英 in a 熔炉, the 回收机 method is more reliable. Fish anywhere (even the farm pond) and you'll catch Broken Glasses and Broken CDs regularly. A 回收机 converts them to 精炼石英 with ~80% success rate. Build 3-4 回收机s and keep them running — you'll never have a 石英 shortage.
6 🎁 额外收益 — 顺路能拿到的好东西
While building 避雷针s and collecting 电池组s, you'll gain resources, XP, and farm infrastructure that benefit your entire playthrough. Don't leave these on the table.
At the same 采集等级 that unlocks 避雷针s, you also unlock the 史莱姆 Egg Press (1 火水晶 + 1 煤炭 + 1 电池组). This lets you compress 100 史莱姆 into a 史莱姆 Egg, which can be hatched in a 史莱姆屋 for passive income and unique drops.
While collecting 蝙蝠翅膀s and 铁矿石 for 避雷针s, you'll also gather: 铜矿石 (洒水器s), 金矿石 (Quality 洒水器s, 小桶s), geodes (museum donations), Combat XP (monster drops), and elevator shortcuts to every 5th floor. A single 春季 mine run sets you up for the entire year.
The Forester profession at Level 5 (+25% wood from trees) dramatically reduces wood costs for all buildings. At Level 10, Lumberjack (all trees can drop 硬木) eliminates the 硬木 bottleneck for buildings and crafting. The Foraging skill tree is one of the most impactful in the game.
When a storm is forecast, you can't farm (crops don't need watering in rain). This is the perfect time to: mine (descend the 骷髅洞穴), fish (rain increases fish bite rate and unlocks rare rain-only fish like Catfish), socialize (visit villagers in the Saloon or their homes), or craft (organize chests, process artisan goods). Storm days are productivity days, not wasted days.
Beyond 避雷针s, 蝙蝠翅膀s are used in: 怪物香水 (attracts more monsters, great for Combat XP farming), 避雷针 (multiple rods), and they sell for 15g each. Bats also drop rare items occasionally. Don't ignore bats in the mines — farm them whenever you see them.
The 精炼石英 you craft for 避雷针s is also needed for: Quality 洒水器s (1 per sprinkler — you need dozens), 农场电脑 (10 精炼石英), Crystal 层 (decorative), and 太阳能板 (10 精炼石英). A stockpile of 30-50 精炼石英 is recommended for any serious farm development.
